Different Methods of Bio-Intensive Bed Preparation

USDA-NRCS Funded Drip Irrigation System

Seasoned farmer Mark Canright will describe the process of procuring the NRCS grant and go over the installation, maintenance and use of this highly efficient irrigation system.  An NRCS representative will be on hand to answer questions.

The Benefits of Sunn Hemp Cover Cropping

Sunn hemp is dual benefit cover crop, providing a large amount of biomass while also fixing nitrogen.  It can also be used for forage.  The Community Supported Garden at Genesis Farms is one of the first farms in NJ to test its effectiveness.
