Prepare a professional business plan and get your farm business on the right track! Tilling the Soil of Opportunity is designed to help you test your ideas, explore new marketing opportunities, and develop a business and marketing plan specific to your farm. Participants will assess their resources, develop marketing strategies, understand financials, learn how and where to get funding for their businesses, and network with other farmers. This is an intense course that will require at least 45 hours of your time!

Tilling the Soil of Opportunity is aimed at those individuals who have started or are thinking about starting an agricultural-based venture that is not tied to large-scale commodity-style production. The course features individual assistance in all areas of business planning as well as networking opportunities with other farmers.
